Hi!!!!! I’m Aisha, the founder, herbalist and head witch-in-charge of Sunshine and Alchemy. 🌞✨

My heart is in helping folks understand, celebrate and nourish their bodies through the support of herbal medicine, functional nutrition, and lifestyle practices. My mission is to help you reconnect with your body, trust your intuition, and thrive in your natural rhythm.

Like many of us, I spent years having painful periods, feeling frustrated with my body and out of sync with life. I came into this work after years of study and a personal transformation. I truly dove into my mission and found my purpose after the birth of my baby girl who I welcomed at home in the presence of my beloved midwives and doula. It was through my pregnancy and birth journey that I realized how important it is to trust your intuition and your body’s innate wisdom. My bones remembered how important it is to be in relationship with your body, the plants around you, women who support you, food that nourishes you and a life that aligns with you.

It is this experience that leads me to offering myself to the community as an herbalist, functional hormone health practitioner, sister, mother and fellow menstrator. In addition to intentionally crafted herbal products, I am now available for personalized 1:1 herbal consultation and hormone health support sessions!! 🫶🏼

I am deeply honored and beyond excited to be in this chapter of life. I am here. I am ready to support. I am ready to alchemize. I am ready for YOU!

Who am i as a practitioner?

  • It excites me to be a fresh practitioner and forever student of herbal medicine. I know that this is my life’s work to be supporting mothers, womxn and menstrators alike. I know that I will continue to learn and greet each client with humble curiosity. I know I have so much to offer the community and look forward to connecting with you over products or in a more intimate way through support sessions or workshops.

    I have spent YEARS self studying and practicing as a folk herbalist. I feel as though all of my personal and professional experiences have contributed to the community role I hope to fill as the head witch-in-charge here at Sunshine and Alchemy.

  • Deeply give a sh*t about my work, my passions and the people I am in community with. If I don’t already have an answer to a question you have, I will go research and I will provide you with one ASAP.

  • It is important for me to create a sacred container to hold and explore the complexities of the femme experience. While our work together will be anchored in herbalism and functional health, our time together will inevitably weave through the intersections of our identities. I am here to hold safe space for those who are in the LGBTQIA+ community. I will use inclusive language and often speak about “womb work”, “reproductive health”, “people with uteruses” etc., to acknowledge the diversity of bodies and gender identities in the work that I do.
